Transformer Radiators

1.      Corrugated wall panel radiators

The corrugated type are directly welded to the transformer tank. Besides of the obvious advantage of reduction on the overall dimensions of the transformers. The thermo power wastage is lower and the flow of oil does not become sluggish hence the efficiency of the radiators is better. This in the long term improves the usable life of the transformer and maintenance cost would be lower.  Because there is no circulation of oil through tubes/ fins & therefore, there is no possibility of blockage due to formation of sludge. In case there is leakage or pilferage of oil, the level of oil may reduce but the transformer will continue to operate with some increase in temperature. And for the transformers with fin type  radiators the circulation of oil will  completely stop and the transformer will burn off.
 
 
 
 
2.      Fin type radiators
Technical standards: IEEMA, DIN, JB/T5347-99, and custom designs.
Accessories such as M.S. square fanges, air vent, drain plug, lifting hooks, bracing straps are  standard but can be supplied as per customers specific requirements.
 
Surface: All radiators are thoroughly cleaned and given a Interior coat of class "B" insulation varnish. external surface is cleaned of all rust and galvanized treated or  coat of red zinc chromate primer (25 PPF).  
All radiators are pressure tested individually under water with the  help of compressed air pressure of 1200kpa for 20 minutes.
